Light therapy
Using therapeutic wavelengths of light energy, LED light therapy increases your skin’s natural ability to heal itself. Targeting a number of skin issues like acne, wrinkles, redness, and inflammation, LED is a non-invasive and painless treatment that promotes skin rejuvenation and healing. Blue lights target acne-causing bacteria while red lights reduce inflammation, redness and trigger the production of collagen and elastin fibers from within the dermis resulting in a rejuvenated and plumped appearance.

Wax therapy
Hands and/or feet are submerged several times in a tub of heated, liquid paraffin wax before covering them in a plastic bag and wrapping them with covers. The wax “hardens” into a soft coating, trapping heat against your skin and opening your pores and allowing for the release of dirt and toxins as well as the hydrating oil elements to penetrate deeply through the outer layers of skin, delivering valuable moisture to dry skin and cuticles. When it has finally cooled it can be pulled away, stripping dead skin cells away along with it. Your skin is left looking brighter and feeling more soft and supple. The warmth of the wax can be very soothing, and it can increase blood flow and relax muscles. This can result in a greater range of motion, a reduction of inflammation and relief from a wide range of uncomfortable and even painful conditions, including arthritis, fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. Wax therapy is simple and inexpensive, and so incredibly luxurious and beneficial that it is a wonderful service to add on to any treatment.
Microdermabrasion
Totally pain-free, microdermabrasion begins with exfoliation. Removing the outer-most layer of the skin leaves behind a fresher, smoother complexion. Removing old or dead skin cells allows the treatment to better penetrate the healthy cells, which will absorb the benefits more efficiently. Next, a vacuum is used to stimulate circulation. This increases blood supply to the area, and pro nourishing nutrients, encouraging regeneration and the all-important collagen formation.
Microdermabrasion has a range of benefits: enlarged pores are tightened, skin feels fresher and smoother, and skin tone is improved. Other benefits can include sun damaged skin being hydrated and smoothed, and fine lines, wrinkles and minor acne scars being diminished. The results are far-reaching, and can be performed on the whole body. Because the treatment is non-invasive there is no down-time for pure rest. However, The client will be required to protect his or her skin with moisturizer and provided sunscreen after the treatment. If sunscreen is applied and a normal skincare regime is continued, the client can resume all normal activities after three days. Minor side effects such as redness or sloughing/peeling of dead skin cells may also occur.
Treatment times average about 20-30 minutes.
Remember that all skin types and existing conditions are as unique as the individual, however a minimum of six microdermabrasion treatments are generally recommended for optimal results. Treatments spaced closely together provide the best results. For this reason, many clients choose to schedule their treatments on a weekly basis for their first 6 treatments. This non-surgical procedure is great for a range of conditions:. sun damage, blackheads, uneven skin, superficial scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, minor acne marks and wrinkles. These conditions all respond well to microdermabrasion. Final outcomes of the treatment will vary across individuals due to unique skin types, at-home care and frequency of treatment.
